Time for a little challenge...

I was chatting with the fabulous Paula Dobson one day and the subject of stepping outside one's comfort zone when creating came up.  So Paula challenged me to create a project using ONLY Stampin' Up! products.  "I'm up for that", I thought... and waited for inspiration to settle over me.

Settle over me it did - in the form of one of Lauren Meader's fantastic 3D projects - check out her amazing site here.  I chose The Flapper Box (maybe because it was full of chocolate??).  The straight-forward instructions made constructing this REALLY easy - and FUN!

Here's the list of ingredients used:

Card Stock: Blushing Bride, Espresso, Very Vanilla
Ink: Soft Suede, Pink Pirouette
Stamps: Yummy, Happy Harmony
Miscellany: Blushing Bride ribbon, silver brads, Eyelet Border punch, Photo Corners punch

This yummy choccie box is going straight to Paula - to say Merry Christmas and thanks for all your creative help and guidance since I started stamping.  SURPRISE!

  1. Oh wow, Ali! That is just so, so, so gorgeous! I really love it! I think I will attempt one of these while on holiday. Might have to improvise cos I don't have all the bits needed, but thanks for the inspiration!

  2. Very cute, Alison - I love it! Paula will too! Merry Christmas!

  3. OMG its gorgeous - we definitely need to have a play date

  4. Fantastic creation Ali, I'm sure Paula will love it cause I do.

  5. Oh, Thank you Alison, I was so thrilled when you accepted the challenge, but I certainly didn't expect to receive this lovely project too!! I feel very honoured and special! Thank you for accepting the challenge and designing for me!

  6. Wow! Such a gorgeous creation! And ... what a great challenge! I notice on Paula's blog that you are joining SU! in the New Year! You are going to love it! One of the best things I ever did! Hugs xxaxx
